1.0 OVERVIEW

Australian Beach Netball (ABN) is a network of beach netball festivals that have a pure focus on athlete experience. Rather than a homogenized series of events under an umbrella brand, the Australian Beach Netball model allows for each existing and new event to maintain its own unique characteristics, brand and experience for athletes. Rather than a “take-over” of existing events, we will build new events in destination locations where membership is about bringing together the talent, skills and resources of event operators for the benefit of the collective series of events.

Elite Energy is the owner of the “Australian Beach Netball” ABN brand and will operate a minimum of six ABN events in 2019/20. Elite Energy is one of Australia’s leaders in mass participation events with more than 25 events produced annually. Elite Energy’s flagship event is the Huskisson Triathlon Festival, which attracts over 5,000 athletes to participate across three days of racing.

Elite Energy is providing third-party operators with the opportunity to produce Australian Beach Netball in many locations across the nation and enable partners to take advantage of Elite Energy and Australian Beach Netball owned marketing assets, co-operative marketing initiatives, world-class talent and resources, and group buying power. Elite Energy, is the owner and organizer of triathlon and participation sport throughout New South Wales has been a respected name in triathlon industry since the company’s inception in 1999. Elite Energy is a Private Company. The organization is a full-time multisport management company specializing in the production of triathlon events. Elite Energy is an owner of events, as well as a contracted management company to rights holders and third-party owners.

3.3 Organisation Size

Elite Energy is an organization comprising 13 full-time staff, 10 part-time staff and a network of 10-15 regular contractors and casual staff. Elite Energy produces the largest triathlon event (by participation numbers) in New South Wales each year (Huskisson Long Course Festival) and produces in excess of twenty-five other major participation events each year across the cycling, triathlon, running, stand-up paddle, windsurfing, kite surfing, and obstacle racing genres. Events are produced throughout New South Wales and ACT.
